I can’t believe I didn’t see this CFL discussion sooner! In the previous comment on my earlier post, yfox also pointed out how the Montreal Alouettes actually were named after the song “Alouette” because the song itself is associated so heavily with Quebec culture. I can’t say the same for Saskatchewan and their “rough riding” or whatever it is they do there.
It’s interesting that my Tumblr has become somewhere to discuss Canadian football and its minimal importance the country.

Yes, I agree. I’ve been studying for the GRE, but that’s the only structured part of my day. I should try to organize the rest of the day like I set aside that studying time. Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it!
